Secondary Hot Rolled 1/4" Steel Coil — A36 and Structural Grades

Collier Metals supplies secondary and excess hot rolled 1/4" coil out of our Atlanta facility. 1/4" is one of our specialty thicknesses, so we can often sell partial coils as small as 5,000 lbs and slit or cut them to size in-house.

Specifications

  • Material: Hot rolled black (HR)

  • Thickness: 1/4" nominal (.239"–.250"). Exact gauge on every tag and MTR

  • Grades: ASTM A36, A1011 CQ, A1011 HSLA (45–70 ksi), A572

  • Width: Up to 72" master coils. Slit 2"–72"

  • Forms: Master coil (typically 25,000–45,000 lbs), partial coil from 5,000 lbs, slit coil, cut-to-length sheet and plate

  • Documentation: MTRs with heat numbers, certified test reports

  • Lead time: 5–10 business days for in-stock material. Add 3–5 days for processing

Heavy structural applications, equipment bases, thick stamped components, wear plates.
