What Is Steel Plate?

Steel plate is produced by rolling steel at high temperatures, which makes it easier to shape and form. It’s commonly used in structural applications, heavy equipment, industrial fabrication, and repair work. Plate thickness generally starts at 3/16" and goes up from there, making it ideal for high-strength, load-bearing use.
